Upcoming Pennsylvania tax sales
Six upcoming Pennsylvania county tax sales are on our calendar, from Thursday, November 12 to December 10, 2026: six tax deed sales, in six counties.
Each date was read on the county's own page, or the auction platform it links to; every row links to that source and says when we checked it. Confirm there before you register — dates move and lists shrink as owners pay.
Pennsylvania rules in brief
Pennsylvania's Real Estate Tax Sale Law sells the property itself through each county's tax claim bureau. The upset sale, held between the second Monday of September and October 1, opens at the taxes, municipal claims and costs, and the buyer takes title subject to mortgages and other liens not in that price. What doesn't sell can go to a court-ordered judicial sale free and clear of liens, and then to a repository list (72 P.S. §§ 5860.601, 5860.605, 5860.609, 5860.612, 5860.626). There is no redemption after any of these sales (§ 5860.501(c)). Philadelphia is different: its sheriff's tax sales let owners of non-vacant properties redeem for about nine months after the deed is acknowledged.
The statute, how bidding works and the mistakes that cost new buyers money are in the Pennsylvania guide.

Before your first Pennsylvania sale
Tax deed sales — Pennsylvania: the property itself is sold. The balance is usually due within hours or days, the deed usually comes without a title warranty, and whether the former owner can still redeem after the sale depends on the state; in Pennsylvania: none after the sale (Philadelphia: ~9 months if occupied).
Get the final list the week of the sale, register before the county's cut-off, and check the payment form it accepts. Then research the property itself (step 6 of how to find tax sales) and read how a tax deed auction works.
